Celso Machado's solo performances transport his audiences through the richness and diversity of Brazilian music, and beyond. For over forty years he has performed on concert stages throughout Brazil, Western Europe, Canada, and in the United States. Celso's last four solo CDs have been nominated for Juno Awards. Machado has been described as "inventive and unbuttoned."
This annual concert serves as a Foundation fundraiser and an opportunity for us to come together in community, celebration and remembrance of Frank Longay.
