The three dimensional aspect of a mask makes it different than traditional collage. We connect to the fact that it is a face, and typically the way we decorate the mask reflects something about ourselves. When I created about 25 masks within one month's time, a few years ago, it was a transformative process for me. I realized how much I was hiding behind my mask, while at the same time, struggling to out myself "out there" into the world.
Join us for this workshop, where we will begin with a short meditation, and then create a mask using hand made papers.
