Author Mac Barnett always has readers on the edge of their seats wondering what he's going to come up with next. He has a couple of new books under his belt: Chloe and the Lion and Oh No! Not Again! (Or How I Build a Time Machine to Save History)(Or at Least My History Grade). His Brixton Brothers mystery series are so clever and fun--they are not to be missed.
In the spirit of Hicklebee's Read-Aloud Summer, Mac Barnett along with actors from Peninsula Youth Theatre, will be presenting a Reader's Theater production of his books. Reader's Theater is a dramatic presentation of a book adapted to script form. The focus is on reading the text with expressive voices and gestures. A booksigning will follow.
