Pianist/composer/arranger Oscar Hernández leads this thirteen-member all-star ensemble through the classic sounds of New York City Salsa. Hailed as "one of Latin music's greatest bands," this multiple Grammy award-winning troupe travels all over the world performing the best of salsa.
This concert is part of the free Target Summer Pops series, sponsored by Target. Performances in this series are held on the grassy mall of San Jose State University. Plentiful parking is available nearby, and you can enter at 4th Street and W. San Carlos Street. You are welcome to bring a picnic lunch or supper and a beach chair.
