Stegner Fellows Shorts on Stage

Stanford’s Stegner Fellows in creative writing are back with an all-new selection of fiction and poetry—as experienced through the intimacy and immediacy of live drama—in staged readings by San Francisco’s acclaimed Word for Word Performing Arts Company. In the San Francisco Examiner’s words: “Noted for adapting short works of fiction for the stage without changing a word of the original text, Word for Word takes the word ‘adaptation’ to all-new levels.” This event is presented in partnership with the Stanford Creative Writing Program, and generously supported by Bruce and Eleanor Heister.
