In Presidential Planes, kids explore the history of Presidential aviation while building and flying a small model of the world's most famous airplane. Check out the cockpit of a Boeing 747 aircraft, a version of which is flown as today's Air Force One. Take the controls of presidential aircraft past and present in the flight simulator in a hands-on exploration of the ultimate in executive air transport.
Take Flight programs are half-day adventures into the world of aviation for elementary-aged students in Grades 1-5. Sessions are scheduled on select weekend and holiday dates throughout the year and include the following: hands-on construction of flying model aircraft, exclusive behind-the-scenes cockpit explorations in museum aircraft, and a special flight simulation experience in the Flight Sim Zone.
