Mark "Two-Tone Steiny" Steinmetz wails his love for the Blues on his trademark harmonica. This versatile harpist, vocalist, and song-writer is influenced by both his West Coast and Chicago Blues roots. Steiny has recorded and played alongside greats Rick Estrin (who made an appearance at the 2011 Summer Fest), the Butch Cousins, and the late Red Archibald. He recently won the Sacramento Blues Society's International Blues Challenge and is currently nominated for a Sacramento "Sammie" in the Country/Blues category.
Two-Tone Steiny will be joined by Kid Andersen, a staple guitarist whose style has been likened to Buddy Guy and BB King. He strums riffs with intense vibrato and fluency, sifting through strings like a breeze through chimes. Andersen found his first big break at Muddy Waters Blues Club in Ohio before he moved to the West Coast. His solo release Rock Awhile debuted in 2003. This Norwegian native entertains audiences in both the US and in Norway with his high-energy performances.
