The HOST Volunteer Program is provided in cooperation by the Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport and the San Jose Convention and Visitors Bureau. Located near baggage claim at Terminals A and C, our HOST Volunteers are available inside the Airport providing information for both visitors and residents alike. We see our HOST Volunteers as goodwill ambassadors representing not only our organizations, but also the whole City of San Jose. Enhancing the guests stay by providing information about San Jose is our goal. We offer a sincere smile, a courteous and helpful demeanor and answers to your questions.
Over 175 volunteers actively participate in the HOST program. Volunteers serving the Airport Information Booth come from a variety of sources, i.e., service clubs, major companies, Airport employees, emergency personnel and fellow HOST members.
If you are interested in joining our family of goodwill ambassadors, please complete the HOST Volunteer application and we will contact you. To receive an application through US Mail or via fax, please call (408) 295-9600 or 1-800-SAN-JOSE (726-5673), ext. 1170.
