Visitor Services
Through the SJCVB’s Visitor Services department, visitors will have complete access to:
HOST Volunteer Program
As good will ambassadors and the visitor’s first point of contact at the Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport, the Bureau’s 175 active HOST Volunteers assist travelers and residents as they enter San Jose. Visit or HOST Volunteers at Terminals A and B (next to the baggage claim) of the airport.
San Jose Concierge
The San Jose Convention and Visitors Bureau’s complimentary concierge service at 800-SAN-JOSE (726-5673), provides visitors and individual travelers with:
- Event information
- Hotel accommodations
- Restaurant reservations
- Tickets to local performing arts events, attractions and sporting events
The San Jose Concierge staff is knowledgeable and courteous, with experience planning after-hours activities of all kinds. For shows of 3,000 attendees or more, planners will receive complimentary concierge assistants located in the lobby of the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.
Visitor Information Center (VIC)
Located in the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, visitors and meeting delegates with business-oriented tasks will have the support of the Bureau’s VIBC, from faxing and mailing to shipping and computer usage. Visitors will also find helpful items like maps, directions, event calendars and other general information. The VIBC is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am–5:00pm and Saturdays from 11am–5pm.
