Flexibility makes the Convention Center perfect for a variety of meeting types. For smaller events, the Center can be sectioned off to fit without limiting features. For extra-large events or those requiring specialized facilities like a theater stage, the Convention Center is networked with nearby venues to help that event expand seamlessly into whatever environment your gathering requires. Delivering the state-of-the-art communications, the Convention Center’s on site qualified support personnel can assist with networking services such as meeting webcasting, cyber cafes, satellite transmissions and video streaming. 

Located in the Downtown core with its own parking lot, the Center is connected to two hotels and a short walk to several more, an abundance of restaurants, museums, cultural and performing arts as well as convenient public transportation in Light Rail, Cal Train and DASH shuttles.

When you’re in meeting mode, the last thing you want is to spend half your time taking buses and taxis to the convention center, and schlep across town for entertainment after hours. The San Jose Convention Center is smack in the middle of downtown, with 14 convention hotels and dozens of restaurants, theaters, nightclubs, museums and performing arts within walking distance or a short rail ride.

The San Jose Convention Center will be the main gathering place for your meeting or event, and various halls, theaters and museums nearby offer many options to seamlessly “take the action outside,” whether it be special programs or extracurricular play.

The San Jose Convention Center offers plenty of versatile space which you can be configured to fit a variety of event needs:

    •    Room for 1,000 10' x 10' booths
    •    A 22,000-square-foot ballroom
    •    100,000 sq. ft. of pre-function space
    •    Up to 31 meeting rooms with capacities from 50 to 2,400 in theater-style seating
    •    Banquet seating and kitchen facilities for 5,000
