Awe inspiring pieces of public work can be found around almost every corner in San Jose, especially the downtown. From
the airport to the convention center, to City Hall, SJSU and throughout
the city's core campus, there are a number of amazing public art
installations, and some are even interactive. Look out for pieces from the Downtown Doors program
and the Art Box Project San Jose which continue to transform utility doors and
utility boxes into art courtesy of local artists and high school students.

San Jose Stage Company, recognized as The Bay Area’s Premiere Off-Broadway Theatre, presents award-winning, innovative and contemporary programming, showcasing the region’s best new and established artists in a unique off-Broadway style venue. The Stage produces, at a minimum, a 5-play subscription series, inclusive of 120+ performances and 10 scheduled talkbacks.
Since The Improv opened in downtown San Jose in 2002, it has been a key destination for gut busting, world-renowned comedy acts as well as a host of music and special events. The Improv’s intimate club setting gives those in its audience an opportunity to see their favorite acts up close. Headline comedians are booked regularly and play to full houses Tuesday through Sunday, with multiple shows a night, most nights.
