The Blue Door

Neighborhood: West San Jose
Cuisines: Greek, Happy Hour

General Information

The Blue Door restaurant is influenced by resorts in southern Greece. Anyone who has traveled to Greece has been fortunate to see that it is surrounded by a sea of blue which is also represented in it’s flag and the superstitious powers of the evil eye. When fishermen went out to sea to earn their living, their wives painted their doors blue to protect them from evil and bring their husbands home safely. Today, many of the islands continue to paint the doors and windows blue and on some islands, it is law.

The Blue Door represents your door to the Mediterranean as reflected in the menu. When you enter The Blue Door, you will not only be greeted by our hospitality, but also enjoy the fabulous recipes from our kitchen to give you a Greek-inspired dining experience.
