Steinway Society presents Charlie Alright

Hailed by the Washington Post as “among the most gifted musicians of his generation” with a “dazzling natural keyboard affinity,” American pianist/composer/improviser Charlie Albright will appear in concert Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Trianon Theatre in San Jose. Albright will also present a pre-concert talk and be available at a Meet-the-Artist following the concert.
“Many pianists possess great technique; many retain a broad repertoire. Charlie Albright has something extra: the propensity to make concerts riveting, fun and exhilarating. His unique way of communing with the music merges his intentions with the composer’s, bringing freshness of vision and unique expressive ability to his performances.”
