CMT San Jose was founded in 1968 to create a community-based children’s theater in San Jose, CA. Broadway San Jose, a Nederlander Presentation is where Silicon Valley finds the New York Broadway Theater Experience. Performances take place as the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts, an historic 2,677 seat theater in the middle of Downtown. Our staff and facility can handle groups from 10-1000 plus.
Ballet San Jose's mission is to provide the South Bay with theatrically produced ballet and professional dance education in a manner that honors the vision of the artists, meets the highest technical and artistic standards, contributes to the fulfillment of the cultural needs of the community, and is accessible to as wide an audience as possible. All performances take place in the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts. The ballet season generally runs from October to April or May each year and features a nearly month-long run of THE NUTCRACKER each December.
