The Stay Safe program is endorsed by all major U.S. hotel brands and associations and the majority of San Jose properties are affiliated with the program through their corporate parent companies or management groups.
The Marriott International Commitment to Clean is developed by their Marriott Cleanliness Council consisting of in-house and outside experts in food and water safety, hygiene and infection prevention, and hotel operations. This corporate program extends across to all Marriott International properties including their San Jose properties.

The brand put together an expert panel of trusted medical and industry advisors to help fine-tune safety protocols across the entire hotel experience, pursued GBAC STAR facility cleanliness and training accreditation through the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) at all Hyatt hotels, and appointed a designated trained Hygiene & Wellbeing Leader or team at all locations to make sure every one stays safe and well.
Best Western We Care Clean is an expansion of the hotel chain's ongoing commitment to keeping guests safe and healthy during these challenging times. Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Count on Us program instills enhanced social distancing measures in public spaces and rolled out more frequent cleaning and disinfecting of high-touch areas in their properties. In guest rooms, you can expect more thorough cleaning and disinfecting in between guest stays — with a recommended 24–72 hour rest period between guests checking out and new guests checking in. Plus, non-essential items like pens and decorative pillows may be removed and complimentary travel-size hand sanitizer is provided.
