Security Officer
Part-Time/On Call
The Security Officer is responsible for monitoring cameras and radios, responding to calls, designating and assigning security personnel for security services, contacting emergency responders and providing information to individuals seeking inquires, patrolling assigned areas, investigating and/or reporting hazards and suspicious circumstances, preparing incident reports, and performing a wide range of administrative duties related to security.
Cook
On Call/Variable
A Cook has the same responsibilities as a Chef (Cook Supervisor) except he/she is not in charge of the kitchen, does not determine the merchandise to be ordered, and takes orders as to kitchen operation from the Chef (Cook Supervisor). Shall not be required to do general cleaning other than the tools of their trade and the necessary cleaning of their immediate station.
This is an on-call union position, and all individuals in this role are represented by UNITE HERE! Local 19.

The Bartender is responsible for mixing, pouring, and servicing of hard liquor or alcoholic beverages, selling food and providing superior service to both the internal and external customer.
This is an on-call union position, and all individuals in this role are represented by UNITE HERE! Local 19.
Executive Steward
Full Time
Under the supervision of the Executive Chef, the Executive Steward is responsible for managing and coordinating all activities of hourly stewarding and expeditor workers while overseeing the department function and processes.
Security Supervisor
Full Time
Team San Jose is seeking a Security Supervisor to protect company assets and provide a safe environment for employee and guests. The supervisor assumes the primary security responsibility for the daily activities of his/her specific shifts which includes assisting with the effective and efficient operations of the Safety and Security Department and performs the function of a Security Officer as needed. The Supervisor will report to the Assistant Director of Safety and Security and Director of Safety, Security and Parking.
Destination Product Marketing Manager

The Destination Product Marketing Manager leads strategic marketing initiatives to support group meetings business, leisure travel and B2B tour operator product to San Jose. This person oversees the execution of marketing events and tourism product development to integrate into overall promotional strategy. They will identify visitor trends and opportunities and package offerings based on campaign lifecycle and support the team in launching them across owned, earned, paid, and if applicable, partner channels. The Destination Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for working with the VP and Director to execute and create reports on high-performing, multi-channel campaigns which positively impact overall visitation to San Jose. This position will report to the Director of Marketing, Communications & Global Media Relations.
Communications Specialist

The Communications Specialist is contributes to Visit San Jose’s domestic and international media relations program with the mission to market San Jose as a premier visitor and meetings destination. The role also manages communication strategies for parent organization Team San Jose and partner division, San Jose Theaters. The role, in working with both the Director and VP of Marketing & Communications, provides opportunity to develop strategies that align with department and organizational goals. This position will report to the Director of Marketing, Communications & Global Media Relations.

Banquet Setup Manager

Banquet Setup Manager will support the Director of Facilities and Associate Director of Facilities in strategic planning of events, coordinating setups, service, staffing and general administration of the Facilities Department which is responsible for equipment setup and cleanliness throughout Team San Jose’s campus. This role with follow and reinforce all SOPs with the Facilities Team. This position reports to the Associate Director of Facilities.
