420 In The Park

Music in the Park, in partnership with Purple Lotus and Metro Silicon Valley, will present the inaugural 420 in the Park, a two-day celebration of cannabis culture, live music and community at the park formerly known as Plaza de Cesar Chavez in downtown San Jose on April 18–19, 2026.

The festival will feature live music, a 420 expo with more than 20 cannabis brands, food, beverages and community programming in the heart of downtown San Jose, bringing together the region’s music and cannabis communities for a weekend of culture, creativity and connection.

Doors open at 2 pm. Live music runs from 3 pm – 9 pm both days.

Saturday, April 18 — Reggae Day
The Legendary Wailers featuring Julian Junior Marvin headline, joined by Bay Area reggae acts Bayonics, Ancestree and Hijinx.

Sunday, April 19 — Hip-Hop Day
Baby Bash headlines, with RBL Posse, Luniz, CRSB, Los Rakas and Amp Melo rounding out the bill.

Music in the Park will oversee festival production and programming. The long-running downtown concert series, historically produced by the San José Downtown Association, was recently transferred to new local producers to continue activating public spaces and bringing live music to the city’s core.

420 in the Park builds on that tradition while introducing a new spring festival centered on cannabis culture and the broader creative community.
