BAË Infinite: Beyond All Else

Local Color is proud to present BAË Infinite: Beyond All Else, a multidimensional art exhibition opening August 8, 2025 at noble workshop & gallery in downtown San José.
In commemoration of Black August, BAË Infinite brings together visual art, poetry, and sound to honor the rich continuum of Black, African, and Afro-diasporic creativity. Featuring selected works by artists Tachiya Bryant, Shari Bryant, Hunter Saxony III, and Ian Young, the show explores the dynamic cultural contributions of Black storytelling and collective memory as acts of resistance, healing, and world-building.
Visitors are invited to participate in a collective moment of silence in honor of Black August, a time of remembrance and resistance, and to experience works that illuminate personal narratives, nods to expansive culture, and emergent visions of the future.
This work was made possible with support from the City of San José Office of Cultural Affairs, the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, SVCreates, a Sharks Foundation Community Assist Grant, the Knight Foundation and San Jose Downtown Association’s Arts & Marketing Grant, and PARKSJ.
