FRESHA

Frescia Belmar (aka Fresha) is an international singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Chile whose virtuosic solo bass playing has secured her place as one of the most acclaimed musicians in the scene today. With over 2 million views on Instagram and author of the "b4ssics" book series, she portrays guitarist Jennifer Batten in the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic Michael, due for release in April 2026.

Career highlights include working with Herbie Hancock, Mike Stern, Janelle Monáe, Raye and Karol G, alongside projects for T-Mobile and Cartoon Network. She has performed on tours, recording sessions and television networks, effortlessly navigating through endless genres: rock, R&B, jazz, fusion and more. She has collaborated with veteran Chilean pop artist Anita Tijoux and acclaimed American jazz artist Mike Stern. She co-wrote and arranged the song "Woke Up" for Adventure Time in partnership with HBO Max and Gibson.

As an educator, Belmar has hosted a series of non-profit educational music workshops and bass clinics, all broadcasted live around the world. Now based in LA, Fresha is working on her debut album as a solo artist, bringing fresh sounds from the bass galaxy.
