HANFU Beginner's Bazaar

Hanfu is one form of Chinese traditional clothing, and the Hanfu Beginner's Bazaar (漢服新手村) is a free, beginner-friendly hanfu marketplace + cultural event hosted by the Silicon Valley Asian Art Center in San Jose! Whether you already love hanfu or have never worn hanfu before, this event is meant to be a relaxed, open introductory event for anyone curious about traditional Chinese clothing, styling, accessories, beauty, and community.

No hanfu required, no experience needed, and attendance is 100% free! Activities include a hanfu & accessories marketplace, hanfu hairstyling workshops, hanfu sewing and general knowledge Q&A, Taoist divination, a hanfu photobooth, a mini hanfu showcase, and more!
