Nuvo's Halloween Takeover

This October, Nuvo Hospitality has turned San Pedro Square into a playground of chills, thrills and cinematic nostalgia with four immersive concepts that make the district the epicenter of Halloween nightlife.

DR. FUNK RUM HOUSE – KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE: Inspired by the cult classic, the rum house is reimagined as a kaleidoscopic carnival with sinister circus décor and surreal set pieces. Cocktails complete the immersive experience, among them a neon green matcha-pandan cocktail garnished with cotton candy and a crystal clear milk punch topped with an electric blue passionfruit foam.

FIVE POINTS – WELCOME TO DERRY: The bar descends into the unsettling world of Stephen King’s It. Reimagined as Derry, the setting of HBO’s upcoming prequel series, it features more than 16,000 glowing red bulbs and haunting décor that capture the town’s dread. Cocktails are crafted with candy corn elixirs and banana foam floats.

O’FLAHERTY’S IRISH PUB – HALLOWEEN: The pub is transformed into John Carpenter’s slasher flick with ominous décor, an eerie score and the looming presence of Michael Myers. Cocktails feature a mezcal-pomegranate creation with a black salted rim, echoing the film’s legacy.

PLAYBACK COFFEE – WICKED: The café is transformed into the dazzling world of Oz with emerald and rose accents throughout. To complete the experience, seasonal drinks include a jet-black charcoal latte and a green and pink layered matcha latte topped with strawberry cream.
