Year of the Horse Festival at History San Jose
Are you looking for a FUN, FESTIVE, and FREE Lunar New Year event for friends and family of all ages?
CHCP AND HISTORY PARK SAN JOSE invite you to the Lunar New Year of the Fire Horse Festival on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm at History Park San Jose, located at 635 Phelan Avenue, San Jose, CA 95112.
See cultural performances of lions and dragons dancing, music, traditional Chinese folk dances, and martial arts interactive demonstrations. A master Chinese Calligrapher will be demonstrating the Art of Chinese Calligraphy and will even have your name written for you in Chinese Calligraphy. Other festivities include Children's hands-on, make n' take cultural activities, games, and prizes for the youngsters. Also, visit Hoong the Dragon and take selfies.
Have you always wanted to be part of a parade? Be in a Parade with lions and dragons, or visit the Chinese American Historical Museum to learn about Chinese immigrants who helped shape Silicon Valley and beyond.
If you are hungry, Twisters/Rolling Duck will also be there to serve you. And for those with a sweet tooth, O’Brien’s Ice Cream Store will be serving a variety of ice cream and candy.
