2025 San Jose Obon Festival

The San Jose Obon Festival is a vibrant annual celebration hosted by the San Jose Buddhist Church Betsuin. Held each July in Japantown, the event honors Japanese cultural traditions and the Buddhist custom of remembering ancestors. Visitors can enjoy traditional music, dance (Bon Odori), food booths, cultural exhibits, and martial arts demonstrations in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.
