San Jose Theaters Unveils New Name and Branding for Historic San Jose Civic

SAN JOSE, Calif. (May 15, 2019) – The historic Civic theater located in Downtown San Jose has rebranded and officially becomes the San Jose Civic effective immediately. The opportunity to rename allows the theater to return to the city’s hometown roots and historic significance to the City of San Jose. The theater previously closed a successful 5-year partnership with City National Bank. San Jose Civic is the original name of the theater.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (June 29, 2018) – While San Jose is widely known as the technology hub of Silicon Valley, the valley was actually growing grapes and other produce long before the city was harvesting silicon chips. In fact, the region was originally known as the “Valley of The Hearts Delight” thanks to the local rich soil that continues to produce exceptional wines and produce for the region.  Nearby Santa Clara Valley is home to some of the finest wineries and vineyards in California and the Santa Cruz Mountains wine appellation has been dubbed the “most underappreciated wine region” by Wine Spectator. The region is also home to some of the most prolific winemakers such as Etienne Thee, Paul Masson and Paul Draper.
