This October is a big month for San Jose. Check out these diverse events happening all over the city. 

 

October 1 – Sip & Savor at Westfield Valley Fair – West San Jose

Westfield Valley Fair presents Sip & Savor – a wine tasting event benefiting Steph and Ayesha Curry’s Eat. Learn. Play. on Saturday, October 1. Enjoy wines from California and Italian wines curated by Eataly Silicon Valley paired with light bites and live music.

October 2 – Little Italy Street Festival – Little Italy 

The Little Italy Street Festival returns Sunday, October 2 in the Little Italy neighborhood. Enjoy authentic Italian cuisine from Bay Area Italian restaurants, Cali-Italia wine tasting, live music and entertainment, arts and crafts, and a new Ferrari and Lamborghini area. 

October 8-9 – United Airlines Rock ‘n’ Roll San Jose – Downtown 

The Rock ‘n’ Roll running series returns to Speed City on Saturday, October 8 and Sunday, October 9. Choose between a half marathon, 10K, 5K or kids run. Enjoy live bands, DJs, cheer squads, and fans cheering you on from start to finish.
 

October 11 – Drone Racing League – North San Jose

See PayPal Park transform into a video game inspired aerial course for a tech-powered, immersive sports competition. The Drone Racing League Algorand World Championship Racing kicks-off Tuesday, October 11. You won’t want to miss the first drone race in Silicon Valley and the only race in California this season. 

October 13-16 – Silicon Valley African Film Festival – Rose Garden

The Silicon Valley African Film Festival returns next month highlighting stories by emerging creatives from the African continent and diaspora at the Historic Hoover Theater. The festival includes film screenings, a parade of flags from all represented countries, panel discussions, and African music, dance, vendors and fashion. 

October 15-30 – Field to Table at PayPal Park – North San Jose 

Field to Table is the first dining series highlighting some of the best Bay Area chefs on the field of PayPal Park. Enjoy a four-course meal, access to the award-winning local chefs, photo opportunities and more in the open-air dining area. Each night will highlight a different chef ad menu.
