Harvest Celebration
Celebrate this year's harvest with us at Alamitos Vineyards, San Jose's only vineyard winery, tucked into the historic community of New Almaden. On Sunday, October 25, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, join us for an intimate wine paired dinner on the estate.
Our chef, Matt Close, has put together an autumn menu built around the season: saffron mussels, butter-poached rockfish with charred pumpkin sauce, dry-aged duck with a port-wine glaze, and a Portuguese caramelized milk custard, our take on the classic pastel de nata, to finish. Each of the three main courses has a vegetarian option, and every course is paired with one of our handcrafted wines, made by winemaker George Troquato and owner/vintner Shaun Coleman.
Dessert comes with our 2020 Umunhum Touriga Porto, which just took Double Gold, Best of Class and Best Port at the 2026 International Women's Wine Competition. Our 2024 Running Quail Pinot Noir, poured with the rockfish, brought home Gold at the same competition.
