ADEGA Restaurant

ADEGA is a renowned Portuguese fine-dining restaurant in San Jose’s Little Portugal neighborhood, known for bringing a taste of Portugal to the city. Opened in late 2015, ADEGA became the first restaurant in San Jose to be awarded a Michelin star, celebrated for its elegant multi-course tasting menus that highlight fresh seafood, traditional Portuguese ingredients like salted cod and octopus, and seasonal local produce. The restaurant’s name means “wine cellar,” and it lives up to that with an extensive selection of more than 500 Portuguese wines, often paired with the tasting experience to deepen the cultural journey.
