San Jose Stage Company

San Jose Stage Company, recognized as The Bay Area’s Premiere Off-Broadway Theater, presents award-winning, innovative and contemporary programming, showcasing the region’s best new and established artists in a unique off-Broadway style venue. The Stage produces, at a minimum, a 5-play subscription series, inclusive of 120+ performances and 10 scheduled talkbacks. The Stage, the South Bay’s only professional mid-sized theatre organization, was the first group in San Jose to secure and manage its own theater facility, opening its 200-seat three-quarter thrust venue in 1990. The Stage serves over 25,000 patrons annually.
