Les Misérables

Children's Musical Theater San Jose (CMT San Jose) presents Les Misérables, the sweeping musical based on Victor Hugo's classic novel, following ex-convict Jean Valjean as he seeks redemption while pursued relentlessly by the unforgiving Inspector Javert. Set against the backdrop of political unrest, the story weaves together themes of justice and love as Valjean becomes a father figure to Cosette and ultimately finds himself entangled in a student uprising that changes the course of his life. Featuring one of musical theater's most iconic scores, the production brings to life a powerful story of the enduring hope for a better world. This performance is part of CMT San Jose's Mainstage program.

Now in its 59th season, CMT San Jose is one of the region's premier youth performing arts organizations, offering training and performance opportunities to thousands of young artists each year.
